Homelodge wins Runnymede Borough Council Design Award 2005

We are delighted to advise that Homelodge Buildings Ltd has won the Best New Building award at the Runnymede Borough Council 2005 awards for a new nursery at Englefield Green School, Surrey.

The Best New Building was judged by the Planning Committee and based on a building of any size or use that displays high quality, functionality and delight it it’s design. All submitted schemes related to sites within the Borough of Runnymede which were completed between July 2003 and June 2005.

The aim of the awards is to promote an awareness of the need for high standards of design in our built and natural environments and also to celebrate the best examples of good design.

Runnymede Borough Council says ‘good design matters as it ensure attractive, usable, durable and adaptable places as a key element in achieving sustainable development’.

A presentation ceremony will be held on 7th March 2006 where we will be formally presented with our award.
