Homelodge are proud of their buildings and provide comprehensive warranties for your peace of mind.
TWELVE MONTHS DEFECTS WARRANTY
Homelodge buildings provide a twelve month defects warranty; this applies to the whole building and covers any defects – other than those which are the result of accidental damage or abuse.
TEN YEAR STRUCTURAL WARRANTY
Your Homelodge building has a 10 year structural warranty providing you with the reassurance that it will remain structurally sound.
The warranty applies to all the structural elements of the building –Foundations, concrete floor, timber joists, studwork, rafters, beams, lintels and trusses. Provided they are adequately maintained and not the result of accidental damage or abuse. The warranty does not however apply to internal floor finishes, internal wall finishes, ceiling finishes or fixtures and fittings, all of which are covered by the twelve months defects warranty, nor the external fabric of the building, external wall claddings, fascia, plinth and trims which can be covered by our low cost external maintenance contract.
TEN YEAR EXTERNAL FABRIC WARRANTY
For further peace of mind and to guarantee the external fabric of the building we recommend you purchase our low cost external fabric maintenance contract. This provides for schedules visits generally over a six year cycle, and covers the windows and doors, checking of rainwater goods, inspection of roof, repainting windows and doors and the external boarding and joinery.
We are also happy to discuss a procedure to allow for unscheduled maintenance.
Please note that any alterations, extensions, or remodelling of the building fabric not carried out by Homelodge will invalidate any warranty.
